Penny S.

I was diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis in 1999 and was put on many different drugs, ending up on Humira along with methotrexate and folic acid. The drugs helped reduce the pain a

lot, but one of the side effects of Humira is that you lose your immune system, and the cost is

very expensive, even with insurance.

I decided to try acupuncture and contacted my insurance company to see if I was covered. I

found out that I was covered for acupuncture, and they gave me the names of two recommended doctors, one of them being Yuri Belopolsky. I have been going to Yuri since April of 2009

and have not had a shot of Humira since that time. At the worst, my pain has been reduced to

where it was when I was on the Humira, but for the most part, I feel much better than that. I was

also on propranolol for migraine headaches and have been able to reduce by half the amount of

medication needed.

                                                                                      Thank You Yuri
